Well, UK-GDPR gives the Information Commissioner’s Office the power to impose fines of up to £17.5 million or 4% of the total annual worldwide turnover in the preceding financial year (whichever is greater) for breaches of the UK-GDPR.
That may not seem a lot, particularly if you have a small turnover, but even so – a small amount of a small turnover will still hurt! It simply doesn’t make sense to risk it!
