To succeed and grow as a business, you must assess the quality of relationships throughout your organisation—from leaders to employees, employees to leaders, employees to employees, and employees to customers. A healthy organisation is full of people who: Are loyal to one another. They keep their word and in doing so honour their journey.
Having a good relationship builds trust among employees and between a business and their customers.
Strong relationships are based on trust. Organisations can build a culture of trust by cultivating honesty and integrity in workers’ interactions. This culture will flow from the business to the customer base, making the customer feel valued. It will grow trust and they will enjoy the working relationship they have with your business, and more often than not, it will turn into a great, long-term business relationship.
SMB Records Management are a company that feels the importance of such relationships within our business.
We do not believe in smoke and mirrors and do not cut corners, we believe in being transparent, honest and there for our customers.
One way which we have shown to our customers that we are getting it right is by gaining our ISO certification.
ISO certification is a voluntary procedure that a company can undertake to show that it is proficient in a standard of work.
SMB have now gained the ISO- 27001, 9001 and 14001.
So what does each of these ISO (International Organization for Standardization) say about our a business? As they are voluntary we have endeavoured to achieve policies within our business, to show customers that they can trust and rely on the services we provide.
What does each of the ISO’s stand for?
ISO- 27001 – (formally known as ISO/IEC 27001:2005) is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes.
ISO-9001 – sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement).
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
ISO-14001 – Environmental Management System (EMS) is a systematic framework to manage the immediate and long-term environmental impacts of an organisation’s products, services and processes. By completing ISO 14001 certification your organisation can assure stakeholders that your environmental management system meets international industry-specific environmental standards.
SMB Records Management are a family run business and run with that ethos. We are serious about getting it right in every aspect of our business.
Why not request a meeting with us so you can get it right too.
We get it right because we care.
